The program is funded by the Swedish Economic Development Agency (Tillv\u00e4xtverket), Malm\u00f6 Municipality and the Swedish Institute. It offers a one-month stay, full logistical support and opportunities for collaboration with international experts working on topical areas such as green transition, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, food innovation, smart and digital cities, as well as cultural and creative industries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 2025, over 860 candidates from 88 countries applied to participate, with Prof. Vasileva being the only selected representative from Bulgaria and Southeastern Europe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During her stay in Malm\u00f6, Prof. Vasileva will work at the intersection of plant biology, sustainable agriculture and artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She shares:\u00a0\u201cDuring my stay in Malm\u00f6, I would like to establish contacts with entrepreneurs, researchers and industrial partners to jointly develop new ideas for sustainable crops and AI-based biological solutions. We will also seek to exchange experience in areas combining biotechnology and digital transformation.
