RESEARCH:
structure, functions and assemblies of biological membranes; phase transitions
of lipid/water and lipid/prtotein/water systems, phase transforma-
mations of lipid/water complexes, lipid-protein interactions and membrane
heterogeneity, self-assemblies, nanoparticles (liposomes),
nanotransport and diffusional pumping systems (biomembranes and (zeolites),
electropermeabilization and nanotransport..
METHODS USED:
differential scanning calorimetry; X-ray diffraction (static and time
resolved); fluorescence spectroscopy; electroporation, isothermal titration
colorymetry
