The Bulgarian Academy of Sciences announced 08 and 09 October 2004 as Days of the Open Doors. All Institutes within the Academy including the Institute of Plant Physiology were accessible for the general public. As element of the traditional for the Institute practice for dissemniation and interaction with the social environment, we were pleased to welcome all visitors and to discuss the problematics of the research carried out here, as well as the general aspects of the plant physiology as a science. We also organised demo-experiments and special exhibition in the Institute's museum.
