Reaction sequence of the delayed fluorescence emission: 1) Absorption; 2) Excitation of P680; 3) Primary charge separation (reduction of pheophytin - I); 4) Oxidation of the primary electron donor - Z and electron transfer to QA; 5) Electron transfer to QB; 6) Back electron transfer to QA; 7) Back electron transfer to pheophytin (I); 8) Charge recombination; 9) Emission of delayed fluorescence.
