Активности

Проф. Светлана Мишева работи в областта на генетика на растенията. Към настоящия момент е ръководител на научна група „Генетични ресурси, минерално хранене и толерантност към стрес при житни“ към Лаборатория „Растително-почвени взаимодействия“, Институт по физиология на растенията и генетика“. Със своите научни изследвания Проф. Мишева се стреми да допринесе за изясняване на генетичните и физиологичните фактори, определящи толерантността на растенията към стрес и азотната ефективност при житни култури. В сътрудничество с растителни физиолози, биофизици, цитолози, ентомолози, фитопатолози и селекционери проф. Мишева провежда изследвания за: 1) характеризиране и оценяване на генетичното разнообразие при пшеницата; 2) изясняване на генетичния контрол на важни агрономични признаци и устойчивост/толерантност към стресови фактори при пшеницата.
